UNEATLANTICO students of the Audiovisual Communication Degree cover the awards ceremony of the Association of Businesswomen of Cantabria

A team from the Communication Office of the Universidad Europea del Atlántico (European University of the Atlantic) covered the photocall and acted as graphic reporters at the XXIII awards gala of the Association of Businesswomen of Cantabria (Asociación de Mujeres Empresarias de Cantabria, ADMEC). The gala was organized last Thursday at the Hotel Santemar in the presence of more than 300 guests, including both the Rector of UNEATLANTICO, Rubén Calderón, and the Vice-Rector for Academic Planning and Faculty (Ordenación Académica y Profesorado), Silvia Aparicio.

CAFYD students carry out an inclusive sports activity together with the Cantabrian association AMPROS

Students of the of Physical Activity and Sport Sciences at the Universidad Europea del Atlántico (European University of the Atlantic, UNEATLANTICO), participate in an inclusive activity developed in the sports facilities of the university campus in collaboration with AMPROS, the Cantabrian Association for People with Intellectual Disabilities (Asociación Cántabra en Favor de las Personas con Discapacidad Intelectual).

The Academic Director of the degrees of Translation and Interpretation and Applied Languages of the Universidad Europea del Atlántico (European University of the Atlantic, UNEATLANTICO), Paula Quijano, has made an institutional trip to Italy following an invitation from UNICOLLEGE to its headquarters in Turin, where she gave a lecture on "Engaging with Post-Editing in the Academic Setting: A Practical Case in the Scientific Translation."

UNEATLANTICO and Corocotta sign an agreement to promote ultimate and encourage the sport in Cantabria

The Universidad Europea del Atlántico (European University of the Atlantic, UNEATLANTICO) and the Corocotta Ultimate team have signed an agreement to collaborate in the promotion and encouragement of Ultimate Frisbee among the students of the university. The signing of the agreement took place in the boardroom of UNEATLANTICO, in the presence of the rector of the University, Rubén Calderón; the head of the Servicio Internacional de Convenios y Acuerdos Deportivos (International Service of Agreements and Sports Agreements, SICAD), Josep Alemany; and the president of the only Ultimate team in Cantabria, the Corocotta Ultimate, Javier Gallut.

UNEATLANTICO joins forces once again with the Asociación Ciudadana Cántabra Antisida during the European HIV Testing Week

The Universidad Europea del Atlántico (European University of the Atlantic, UNEATLANTICO) has joined the European Testing Week, in collaboration with the Asociación Ciudadana Anti-Sida (Citizens' Anti-AIDS Association, ACCAS), to raise awareness on the importance of this test. The University provided the Association with a room for the tests in a collaborationwith the University's Oficina de Cooperación y Acción Social (Office of Cooperation and Social Action, OCAS).

The students of the Physical Activity and Sports Sciences degree (CAFYD) of the Universidad Europea del Atlántico (European University of the Atlantic, UNEATLANTICO) actively participated in an enriching master class offered by the club Santander Hockey Plus (Santander Hockey Plus club). The main focus of the session was the importance of fostering inclusion in the sports arena, especially as it relates to people with special needs.
