The Social Promotion and Development Association (Asociación Promoción y Desarrollo Social, PDS) has announced the thirteenth edition of the contest “Addictions: Your Point of View” (Adicciones: tu punto de mira), supported by the Spanish Network of Health Promoting Universities (Red Española de Universidades Promotoras de Salud, REUPS) and funded by the Government Delegation for the National Plan on Drugs.
For yet another year, the “Tu Punto” program has launched three contests: video, Instagram, and TikTok, all related to addictions. The students of the Universidad Europea del Atlántico (European University of the Atlantic) interested in participating can consult all the information about the categories and the rules of the competitions at this link.
For the 13th Video Contest, entries must be no longer than 2 minutes in length. For the 4th Instagram contest, posters related to the prevention of drugs or other addictive behaviors will be submitted, and for the Tik Tok contest, videos of 30 seconds maximum.
These contests aim to encourage critical reflection processes and preventive messages about the risks of addictive behaviors and drug use, promoting preventive messages among peers on social networks. The call also offers €5,000 in prizes in the Video Contest, €1,300 in the TikToks Contest, and another €1,200 in prizes in the Instagram Contest.
In this sense, from the Cooperation and Social Action Office (Oficina de Cooperación y Acción Social, OCAS) of the Universidad Europea del Atlántico, all students of the institution are encouraged to participate in this new edition.
Finally, it should be noted that the registration period to participate in the competitions will be open until April 15, 2024.
