UNEATLANTICO Researchers Worked with IDIVAL and the University of Burgos on a Neuropsychological Study on Cannabis Use and Emotional Control
Dr. Juan Luis Martín Ayala, vice rector for research and knowledge transfer, and Dr. Ángel Olider Rojas, researcher and professor at the Universidad Europea del Atlántico (European University of the Atlantic, UNEATLANTICO), worked with the Marqués de Valdecilla Research Institute (IDIVAL) on a neuropsychological study focused on analyzing cognitive control and prefrontal hemodynamic responses to emotional interference. The University of Burgos also participated in the study.
The DIVERSE alliance, of which UNEATLANTICO is a member, attains its first Joint Master Programme in International Business and Geopolitics accredited by NVAO
The Joint Master’s Programme in International Business and Geopolitics, developed by the DIVERSE European University Alliance, has been accredited by the Dutch agency NVAO until 2032. Eight universities from the DIVERSE Alliance, including Universidad Europea del Atlántico (European University of the Atlantic, UNEATLANTICO), participate in the programme alongside the University of Macau.
Researchers at UNEATLANTICO Developed a Scale to Measure Attitudes Toward Immigration Without the Bias Found in Traditional Surveys
A team of faculty and researchers from the Universidad Europea del Atlántico (European University of the Atlantic, UNEATLANTICO) designed and validated a psychological assessment tool that is groundbreaking in the scientific field. The study introduces a semi-implicit methodology that makes it possible to measure social perceptions on immigration while avoiding social desirability bias—that is, the tendency to give answers considered socially acceptable, which is characteristic of traditional questionnaires.
