Maestro Gil de Gálvez starts a musical tour in Ecuador and Panama with the support of the Cultural Work of UNEATLANTICO and FUNIBER
Master Dr. José Manuel Gil de Gálvez will perform between 18 and 30 of May a tour of concerts, lectures and masterclass of violin, chamber music and conducting orchestra in Ecuador and Panama, with the support of the Universidad Europea del Atlántico (European University of the Atlantic, UNEATLANTICO), the Iberoamerican University Foundation (FUNIBER), and the Hispania Music Foundation.

The Universidad Europea del Atlántico (European University of the Atlantic, UNEATLANTICO) has inaugurated a very special exhibition dedicated to The Nonsense of Francisco de Goya, one of the most enigmatic and fascinating series by the Aragonese artist. The exhibition can be visited in the university’s exhibition hall and is part of the International Staff Week 2026 programme, organized by the Office for International Relations (ORI).

Maestro Dr Gil de Gálvez, associated with the Cultural Work of FUNIBER and the Universidad Europea del Atlántico (European University of the Atlantic, UNEATLANTICO), received the award for best original soundtrack at the International Film Festival for Democratic Memory FESCIMED 2025 at the Film Academy in Madrid for the piece ‘Abbey Gate,’ which provides the music for the film Au Revoir Kabul, selected from more than 6,500 entries from 40 countries.
