UNEATLANTICO welcomes new professors to join the faculty for the new academic year 2024-2025
The European University of the Atlantic (UNEATLANTICO) has welcomed the teachers and researchers who will join in the new academic year 2024-2025, in an event organized by the Vice-Rectorate for Academic Planning and Faculty. The meeting was attended by the professors, the directors of the different degrees, as well as the heads of various management areas and departments of the institution, including the Rector's Office, the Academic Secretary's Office and Management.
UNEATLANTICO researchers participate in the development of a technique for malaria detection
Dr. Elizabeth Caro and Dr. Eduardo Silva, UNEATLANTICO researchers, are collaborating in a study that proposes an innovative technique to improve the quality of malaria detection, using deep learning technology.
The E+DIETing_LAB project led by UNEATLANTICO, finalist of the ACEEU The Triple E Awards
The Erasmus Plus project E+DIETing_LAB (2022-2025), led by the European University of the Atlantic (UNEATLANTICO), has been selected as one of the finalists of The Triple E awards of the international body Accreditation Council for Entrepreneurial and Engaged Universities (ACEEU) in the EDI Community Engagement Initiative of the Year Award category . The awards ceremony will be held at the Universidade Nova de Lisboa (Portugal) between September 18 and 20. The competition aims to honor excellence in entrepreneurship and engagement in higher education.
UNEATLANTICO participates in the XXVI Plaza Porticada Honor Award Ceremony
Dr. Silvia Aparicio, Vice Rector of Academic Planning and Faculty of the European University of the Atlantic (UNEATLANTICO), attended the ceremony of the XXVI Prize of the Association Plaza Porticada, which this year was awarded to the prominent Cantabrian physicist, Dr. Francisco Matorras. Matorras, whose career has positioned him as the Spanish scientist with more searches in Google Scholar, focusing his research work in the particle accelerator of the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN) in Switzerland.

With the aim of strengthening institutional and educational relations, the European University of the Atlantic (UNEATLANTICO) and the Ibero-American University Foundation (FUNIBER) held a series of meetings in Bolivia. Dr. Roberto Ruiz Salces, Vice-Rector for International Relations at UNEATLANTICO, and Ms. Flor Mariscal, FUNIBER's Executive Director in Bolivia, met with six universities in Santa Cruz and La Paz.
