The doctor in Psychology and professor at the Universidad Europea del Atlantico (European Unversity of the Atlantic, UNEATLANTICO), David Herrero, has published three scientific articles on topics such as aggression in driving, the impact of interparental conflict on sibling relationships, and the development of a questionnaire to evaluate the practice of mindfulness in teachers.

The Universidad Europea del Atlántico (European University of the Atlantic, UNEATLANTICO) is organizing a new session of the second edition of the employment conference "And Now What?” ("¿Y ahora qué?") with a lecture by the Cantabrian lawyer Francisco Lamadrid de Pablo, partner in charge of the Brussels office and member of the European and competition law practice of Garrigues EU Law Office, one of the largest law firms in Europe.

The Chamber of Commerce of Torrelavega hosts the inauguration of the Tiempo Mujer Conference, an event in commemoration of International Women's Day in which the Universidad Europea del Atlántico (European University of the Atlantic, UNEATLANTICO) joins as a collaborator and prominent participant with the aim of highlighting the fundamental role of women in society.

The Pangea team, composed of Julia Sierra Rosales, Loreto Moral, María Inés Sáinz, Marina Ruiz Fernández, and Sofía Herrera, fourth year Compulsory Secondary Education students from the Colegio Torrevelo-Peñalabra, has won the 7th Pre-University Debate League organized by the Universidad Europea del Atlántico (European University of the Atlantic, UNEATLANTICO), and they will be in charge of representing Cantabria for the first time in the Copa LEDU Preuniversitaria organized by the Spanish University Debate League (LEDU).
