UNEATLANTICO sponsors the 19th Club Federation Cup, an event that will bring together all Cantabrian swimming

The Universidad Europea del Atlántico (European University of the Atlantic, UNEATLANTICO), with the aim of promoting the sport in the region, becomes the main sponsor for the 19th Club Federation Cup, one of the most important events in the calendar of the Cantabrian Swimming Federation.

This regional winter championship by clubs will bring together the best of swimming in Cantabria on March 2 and 3 in the municipal pool of Parque de Cros, Maliaño.

The collaboration between UNEATLANTICO and the Cantabrian Swimming Federation seeks to promote and develop the practice of swimming in the region. The sponsorship agreement is part of this joint initiative, thus consolidating the commitment of both institutions to the development of water sports in Cantabria.

The 19th Club Federation Cup UNEATLANTICO will have the participation of the best swimmers of Cantabria who meet the regional minimum. During the event, a total of 34 individual events and 10 team relay events will be contested over two full days during the weekend of March 2 and 3.

In addition to the organization by the Cantabrian Swimming Federation and the sponsorship of the Universidad Europea del Atlántico, the event has the support and collaboration of the Camargo City Council, Camargo Swimming Club, SportStudio, and the Government of Cantabria.

With the enthusiasm to promote sportsmanship and dedication in swimming, the 19th Club Federation Cup UNEATLANTICO is presented as an outstanding milestone in the regional aquatic panorama, consolidating the alliance between the university and sport in Cantabria. 

It should be noted that the University offers the degree in Sport and Exercise Science, which aims to promote healthy lifestyle habits, as well as the improvement of sports performance.  The sponsorship of the 19th Federation Cup is another example of the university’s constant commitment to sports.
