The European University of the Atlantic (UNEATLANTICO) is organizing the fifth edition of the Pan-American Pre-University Debate League, which will take place from April 15 to May 3 and in which seventy-two teams from fifteen Latin American countries will participate. Schools from Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Dominican Republic and Venezuela will be represented.

The Spanish Department of the Language Center of the European University of the Atlantic (UNEATLANTICO) has gone a step further and is now part of the network promoted by the Cervantes Institute by being an examining center for the SIELE exam. In this way, any student of the university who wishes to certify his or her level of Spanish can take the exam at UNEATLANTICO.

The agreement was signed by the rector of UNEATLANTICO, Rubén Calderón, and the president of the Royal Tennis Society, Eduardo Mora Monte, in the university's boardroom.
