The Cantabrian athlete and student of the Bachelor's Degree in Physical Activity and Sports Sciences (CAFYD) at the Universidad Europea del Atlántico (European University of the Atlantic, UNEATLANTICO), Pablo Delgado, has achieved a historic milestone by becoming the European Under-23 champion in the triple jump. The sporting event was held in the city of Bergen, Norway, and was the setting in which Delgado prevailed over the best athletes on the continent in his category.

Doctors Thomas André Prola and Emmanuel Soriano Flores, professors at the Universidad Europea del Atlántico (Universidad Europea del Atlántico (European University of the Atlantic, UNEATLANTICO), have recently published a chapter in a book entitled “«Aprender para el futuro: educación y competencias digitales en la era de la inteligencia artificial», from the Dykinson S.L. publishing house, linked to the Erasmus + DigitalTA project, which has just ended. This chapter addresses a critical problem of the European education system: the high early dropout rate among new teachers, those with less than five years of experience.
