Teachers of UNEATLANTICO hold a meeting with representatives of the Costa Quebrada Geopark to explore possible collaborations
Lucía Dirube, coordinator of the Costa Quebrada Geopark, and Ángel Trujillano, president of the association, have made a visit to the European University of the Atlantic (UNEATLANTICO) with the aim of making an initial contact and being able to explore possible collaborations and agreements. On the part of the university, teachers Sandra Sumalla, Emilio Casuso and Laura Saiz participated.
UNEATLANTICO hosts the VIII Agri-Food Forum of Cantabria organised by El Diario Montañés
On the occasion of the VIII Agri-Food Forum of Cantabria, organised by the Diario Montañés through its supplement Cantabria en la Mesa, leading professionals from the agri-food sector met in the auditorium of the European University of the Atlantic (UNEATLANTICO). During the meeting, they presented their concerns and proposals regarding the industry in rural areas, with the aim of promoting its development and sustainability.
Students of the IIAA and CTA degrees carry out visits to companies in the sector as part of the course “Packaging and Shelf Life of Commercial Foods”.
As part of the subject “Packaging and Shelf Life of Commercial Food”, students of the degrees in Agricultural Industries Engineering (IIAA) and Food Science and Technology (CTA) of the European University of the Atlantic (UNEATLANTICO) made a series of visits to various food and packaging factories.
