The Erasmus Plus project E+DIETing_LAB (2022-2025), led by the European University of the Atlantic (UNEATLANTICO), has been selected as one of the finalists of The Triple E awards of the international body Accreditation Council for Entrepreneurial and Engaged Universities (ACEEU) in the EDI Community Engagement Initiative of the Year Award category . The awards ceremony will be held at the Universidade Nova de Lisboa (Portugal) between September 18 and 20. The competition aims to honor excellence in entrepreneurship and engagement in higher education.

Dr. Silvia Aparicio, Vice Rector of Academic Planning and Faculty of the European University of the Atlantic (UNEATLANTICO), attended the ceremony of the XXVI Prize of the Association Plaza Porticada, which this year was awarded to the prominent Cantabrian physicist, Dr. Francisco Matorras. Matorras, whose career has positioned him as the Spanish scientist with more searches in Google Scholar, focusing his research work in the particle accelerator of the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN) in Switzerland.
