Aparicio defends the training and profession of economists at the 43rd edition of CONFEDE

The Vice Rector for Academic Planning and Faculty of the European University of the Atlantic (UNEATLANTICO), Silvia Aparicio, stressed the vital importance of economists in the current context during her speech at the 43rd Spanish Conference of Deans of Economics and Business (CONFEDE) and the First Ibero-American Council of Deans of Economic and Business Sciences of Universities (CONIDECE), which were held jointly at the University of Malaga.

Dr. José Ramos Vivas, professor and researcher at the European University of the Atlantic (UNEATLANTICO), has collaborated in a research of the Aquaculture Research Group (GIA), recognized as the Most Relevant Work of 2023 by the Aquaculture Business Association of Spain (APROMAR). This study, led by Professor Felix Acosta and attached to the University Institute for Research in Sustainable Aquaculture and Marine Ecosystems (ECOAQUA) of the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (ULPGC), stands out for the implementation of certain probiotics in sea bass feed, significantly improving the productivity and health of these farmed fish.

UNEATLANTICO hosts again the HIV Awareness Day of ACCAS

The European University of the Atlantic (UNEATLANTICO) once again hosts the HIV Awareness Day on behalf of the Cantabrian Citizens' Association Against AIDS (ACCAS) with the aim of raising awareness among its students about the importance of getting tested, the impact of HIV and AIDS on health. The awareness day offered UNEATLANTICO students an information table with explanatory brochures and preventive material. In addition, for interested students, they had the opportunity to take a free and confidential HIV rapid test.
