The Multi-Lingual Scientific (MLS) Journals, promoted by the Universidad Europea del Atlántico (European University of the Atlantic, UNEATLANTICO) in collaboration with several international academic institutions, announces the publication of the most recent issues of its ten scientific journals.
UNEATLANTICO celebrates solidarity with its community through a toy donation campaign
The Social Action Department of the Universidad Europea del Atlántico (European University of the Atlantic , UNEATLANTICO), in collaboration with the Ibero-American University Foundation (FUNIBER), the International University of Cuanza (UNIC), the International Ibero-American University (UNINI Mexico), the International University Foundation of Colombia (UNINCOL), the University of La Romana (UNIROMANA) and the International Ibero-American University (UNIB), once again organised the ‘International Solidarity Campaign - Toy Collection’, which took place between November and December 2025.

The Universidad Europea del Atlántico (European University of the Atlantic, UNEATLANTICO) held, between January 19th and 23rd, the kick-off meeting of the European project Erasmus+ Capacity Building in Higher Education (CBHE) “Simulation-based training and digital technologies combined with a service-learning approach for experiential and reflective learning in nutrition and dietetic education” (MAHINE) funded by the European Union through the European Education and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA) and aimed at strengthening training, innovation, and international cooperation in the fields of nutrition, agronomy, and health.

Maestro Dr Gil de Gálvez, associated with the Cultural Work of FUNIBER and the Universidad Europea del Atlántico (European University of the Atlantic, UNEATLANTICO), received the award for best original soundtrack at the International Film Festival for Democratic Memory FESCIMED 2025 at the Film Academy in Madrid for the piece ‘Abbey Gate,’ which provides the music for the film Au Revoir Kabul, selected from more than 6,500 entries from 40 countries.

UNEATLANTICO researchers propose a tool to combat fake news in digital media
Researchers at the Universidad Europea del Atlántico (European Atlantic University, UNEATLANTICO), Dr. Mónica Gracia, international director of admissions at the Fundación Universitaria Iberoamericana (Iberoamerican University Foundation, FUNIBER), and Dr. Eduardo Silva, executive director of the same foundation in Guatemala, carry out a study with other professionals to improve automatic detection of fake news through machine learning. This work demonstrates the effectiveness of a hybrid and multivistic approach to analyze informational content in digital environments.

UNEATLANTICO and FUNIBER Ecuador sign an agreement with the Peninsula State University of Santa Elena
The Universidad Europea del Atlántico (European Atlantic University, UNEATLANTICO) and the Fundación Universitaria Iberoamericana (Iberoamerican University Foundation, FUNIBER) have signed a collaboration agreement with the Peninsula State University of Santa Elena (UPSE) in Ecuador. The objective is to establish a scholarship programme for UPSE teachers and their families in second and third degree of consanguinity, among other beneficiaries determined by the university.
