UNEATLANTICO welcomes new teachers for the second semester 2024/25

The European University of the Atlantic (UNEATLANTICO) has received the professors who are joining the second semester of the academic year 2024-2025 in a welcoming ceremony. The meeting was chaired by Dr. Silvia Aparicio, Vice Rector for Academic Organisation and Teaching Staff, who gave an overview of the structure and functioning of UNEATLANTICO, as well as sharing key reflections for the start of this new stage.

The European University of the Atlantic (UNEATLANTICO) delivers the toys collected from the solidarity campaign organised by UNEATLANTICO and the FUNIBER network of universities. The director of the Cooperation and Social Action Office, Laura Saiz, handed over all the donations from the university community to Mercedes Setién, who visited the UNEATLANTICO facilities on behalf of the Asociación Buscando Sonrisas. It is worth mentioning that all the toys donated will be destined to children and families of the villages affected by the Dana.

Professor Miguel Ángel Torío Fernández, director of the Instituto Atúlfo Argenta, gave a talk to the students of the Master's Degree in Teacher Training for Compulsory Secondary Education and Baccalaureate, Vocational Training and Language Teaching, as part of the subject ‘Organisation and Management of Educational Centres’ taught by Javier Cubero and Samuel Allende at the European University of the Atlantic (UNEATLANTICO).

The European University of the Atlantic (UNEATLANTICO) continues to strengthen its links with leading professionals in the communication sector. Mónica Revilla, regional director of Cadena SER Cantabria and delegate of Prisa Media in the region, will give internships in the subject Radio Routines, aimed at students of the degrees in Audiovisual Communication (CA), Journalism (PER) and Advertising and Public Relations (PRP). This initiative will allow students to gain practical experience directly from a recognised professional in the field.
