Dr. Juan Luis Martin Ayala, director of the Degree in Psychology (PSI) and the Master's Degree in General Health Psychology at the European University of the Atlantic (UNEATLANTICO) held a meeting at the Lezama sports facilities with David Rincón, director of the Psychology Department of Athletic Club de Bilbao with the aim of exploring new ways of collaboration in research, teaching and professional intervention in the field of sports psychology.

Isabel Diego, professor in the area of Psychology at the European University of the Atlantic (UNEATLANTICO), is part of the organizing committee of the XV National Conference of Psychology against Gender Violence. This important event will be held for the first time in Cantabria, on November 21, 22 and 23, at the Palacio de Exposiciones de Santander.

The Solidarity League of Vocational Training (FP) of Cantabria will start next Monday, September 16, with the neuroscience conference “Brain, Mind and Education”, in the Assembly Hall of the European University of the Atlantic (UNEATLANTICO). During this event, the positive effects of active methodologies, physical exercise and a balanced diet on cognitive and academic performance will be discussed.

Recently, the modification of the Baccalaureate curriculum of the Autonomous Community of Cantabria has been approved. In this modification, a new optional subject has been included in the 2nd year of baccalaureate in the area of Physical Education, entitled Development of Active and Healthy Lifestyle, which has a teaching load of 4 hours, and which can be implemented in all schools in Cantabria from the next academic year.
