Roberto Ruiz, Secretary General of UNEATLANTICO, is touring Central America to promote the internationalization of the university

Between February 24 and March 19, the Vice Rector for International Relations and Secretary General of the Universidad Europea del Atlántico (European University of the Atlantic, UNEATLANTICO), Dr. Roberto Ruiz, made an extensive tour of the Central American region to promote the internationalization processes of the university campus, as well as to offer universities with which there is already a collaboration agreement the possibility of accepting new undergraduate and postgraduate degrees (masters and doctorates), double degrees, and to promote mobility programs and temporary stays for students and teachers.

The FUNIBER Cultural Work office and the Universidad Europea del Atlántico (European University of the Atlantic, UNEATLANTICO), in collaboration with the Ministerio de Cultura de El Salvador (Ministry of Culture of El Salvador) and its Embassy in Spain, inaugurated the exhibition “Tàpies, colección del grabador Barbarà” (Tàpies, a collection by engraver Barbarà) at the Museo Nacional de Antropología Dr. David J Guzmán (MUNA) (Dr. David J Guzmán National Museum of Anthropology) in San Salvador.

The Sports Service (SAFD) of the Universidad Europea del Atlántico (European University of the Atlantic, UNEATLANTICO), organized a new edition of the "Discover + Sport" project, which is responsible for promoting little known sports. On this occasion, an educational and practical badminton session was held, which was organized with the Cantabria Badminton Federation (Federación Cántabra de Bádminton, FECBA).

On Wednesday, March 20, the final of the II Futsal League of the Universidad Europea del Atlántico (European University of the Atlantic, UNEATLANTICO) was held, which was organized in conjunction with the Cantabrian Football Federation. The Sr Lon team was proclaimed two-time champion and will soon compete against the University of Cantabria to determine who will represent the Autonomous Community in the Spanish University Championship (CEU).

UNEATLANTICO welcomes the Ambassador of the Republic of Angola in Spain

 Dr. Alfredo Dombe, Angolan Ambassador to the Kingdom of Spain, visited the Universidad Europea del Atlántico (European University of the Atlantic, UNEATLANTICO) where he was welcomed by the university authorities and the Iberoamerican University Foundation (FUNIBER), an institution that promotes the articulation of the multinational space of Iberophony through educational, cultural, and technical cooperation. The Angolan high representative participated in a business meeting held at the university.
