UNEATLANTICO hosts again the HIV Awareness Day of ACCAS
The European University of the Atlantic (UNEATLANTICO) once again hosts the HIV Awareness Day on behalf of the Cantabrian Citizens' Association Against AIDS (ACCAS) with the aim of raising awareness among its students about the importance of getting tested, the impact of HIV and AIDS on health. The awareness day offered UNEATLANTICO students an information table with explanatory brochures and preventive material. In addition, for interested students, they had the opportunity to take a free and confidential HIV rapid test.
Students of the IIAA and CTA degrees made guided visits to the Monper and El Andral factories.
As part of the subject “Processing of Food of Plant Origin”, taught by the teacher Pablo Oria, students of the degrees in Agricultural and Food Industries Engineering (IIAA) and Food Science and Technology (CTA), were invited to visit the chocolate factory Monper and the factory of sobaos and quesadillas El Andral.

UNEATLANTICO hosts the first follow-up meeting of the DIVERSE Alliance university project
The European University of the Atlantic is part of the project along with 12 other universities in Europe. The European University of the Atlantic (UNEATLANTICO) hosted the first meeting of the members of the DIVERSE Alliance on May 14 and 15. Representatives of the 12 institutions participating in the project had the opportunity to get to know our facilities and their potential, and to coordinate the next actions to be carried out by the group. In addition to the establishment of an initial governance structure for the consortium, the first working groups were created, which will be focused on the creation of joint programs, inter-institutional communication, research, and the international mobility of the entire university community.
