Mexico hosts the exhibition ‘Picasso: I still surprise’ belonging to the Cultural Work of the European University of the Atlantic and FUNIBER

The Cultural Work of the Universidad Europea del Atlántico (European University of the Atlantic, UNEATLANTICO) and FUNIBER, in collaboration with the International Iberoamerican University of Mexico (UNINI Mexico) and the Campechano Institute, recently celebrated the opening of the exhibition ‘Picasso: I still surprise’ in the emblematic Ex Temple of San José in Campeche, Mexico.

The Universidad Europea del Atlántico (European University of the Atlantic, UNEATLANTICO), through its Office for Cooperation and Social Action (OCAS), has reinforced its social commitment by an information day together with the Spanish Association Against Cancer (AECC). Pilar de la Puente, coordinator of the entity in Cantabria, presented to the students the various ways of collaboration in the region, stressing that volunteering goes far beyond the hospital environment.

The Universidad Europea del Atlántico (European University of the Atlantic, UNEATLANTICO) hosted in its Hall of Acts Cristina Lomba, editor of the publishing group Penguin Random House, who gave a talk about her career and professional experience in the publishing sector. The activity, attended by students from different years of degrees in Audiovisual Communication (CA), Journalism (PER), Advertising and Public Relations (PRP), Business Administration and Management (ADE), and Computer Engineering (II). was developed within the framework of the subject Information and Knowledge Society.

The cultural work of the Universidad Europea del Atlántico (European University of the Atlantic, UNEATLANTICO) and FUNIBER celebrated on 12 February at the Cervantes Institute in Lisbon and the Autonomous University of Lisbon (UAL) the opening of the exhibition "The three bullfights: art and tragedy" which collects the works of three renowned artists: Francisco de Goya, Salvador Dalí and Pablo Picasso.
