CAFYD students carry out an inclusive sports activity together with the Cantabrian association AMPROS

Students of the of Physical Activity and Sport Sciences at the Universidad Europea del Atlántico (European University of the Atlantic, UNEATLANTICO), participate in an inclusive activity developed in the sports facilities of the university campus in collaboration with AMPROS, the Cantabrian Association for People with Intellectual Disabilities (Asociación Cántabra en Favor de las Personas con Discapacidad Intelectual).

Álvaro Durántez Prados, lecturer at the Universidad Europea del Atlántico (European University of the Atlantic, UNEATLANTICO), as well as director of Institutional Relations of the Iberoamerican University Foundation (FUNIBER) and of the FUNIBER Chair of Iberoamerican Studies and Iberophony (Cátedra FUNIBER de Estudios Iberoamericanos y de la Iberofonía), has published in the ABC newspaper the article "Angola and Spain, Iberoáfrica (Angola y España, Iberoáfrica)".

CAFYD students put themselves in the shoes of people with functional diversity and practice adapted hiking with the support of the Asociación Arrastrasillas

Once more, the fourth-year students of the Physical Activity and Sports Sciences Degree at UNEATLANTICO have completed a practice of adapted hiking with Jöelette chairs provided by the Asociación Arrastrasillas, in addition to a circuit with infrastructure and specific techniques to guide people with visual functional diversity through the natural environment. The practice has been carried out on the university campus, from the sports wing to the different outdoor locations of the campus and has had representatives of the organization explain the work they do and offer real testimonies of the benefits of these experiences for people with functional diversity and reduced mobility.

The Universidad Europea del Atlántico (European University of the Atlantic, UNEATLANTICO) welcomed Joel Barreto, director of International Relations of the Universidade Internacional do Cuanza (International University of Cuanza, UNIC), at its campus on November 30. During his stay in Santander, Barreto was received by the rector of UNEATLANTICO, Rubén Calderón, with the fundamental objective of strengthening collaboration between the two institutions.

The Fundación Innovación y Desarrollo (Innovation and Development Foundation, FIDBAN), established by the Universidad Europea del Atlántico (European University of the Atlantic), the Iberoamerican University Foundation (FUNIBER), Sodercan - Government of Cantabria, as well as the Technological Center CITICAN, with the significant participation of the municipalities of Santander and Torrelavega, and the CEOE-CEPYME, has welcomed in its nineteenth Round of Investors two innovative proposals with national projection that want to take off from Cantabria. The startups Neptune Energy Services, which has presented a proposal to decarbonize Spanish ports; and UltraVirtus, which has presented designs for military equipment based on disruptive technologies.

The Academic Director of the degrees of Translation and Interpretation and Applied Languages of the Universidad Europea del Atlántico (European University of the Atlantic, UNEATLANTICO), Paula Quijano, has made an institutional trip to Italy following an invitation from UNICOLLEGE to its headquarters in Turin, where she gave a lecture on "Engaging with Post-Editing in the Academic Setting: A Practical Case in the Scientific Translation."
