On September 1st at 5 p.m. (Spain), the Universidad Europea del Atlántico (European University of the Atlantic, UNEATLANTICO) will organize a webinar on " Current Challenges and Perspectives on CLIL and Bilingualism in the Digital Citizenship Era " presented in English by Sandra Camelo, within the framework of the new Master in Bilingual Education offered by UNEATLANTICO.

The Cultural Work of the the Universidad Europea del Atlántico (UNEATLANTICO) and Fundación Universitaria Iberoamericana (FUNIBER), in collaboration with the Universidade Internacional do Cuanza (UNIC), the Embassy of Spain in Angola, the transport company AJS, the Institute of Education Sciences in Huíla (ISCED) and with the sponsorship of ENSA Seguros de Angola, inaugurated on 13 August the exhibition of engravings «La Conquista del Cosmos» by the artist Salvador Dalí at the ISCED facilities in Lubango, province of Huíla. It can be visited free of charge until 31 August.

Dr. Mónica Gracia, Director of Admissions at the Universidad Europea del Atlántico (European University of the Atlantic, UNEATLANTICO), and Helena Garay, researcher and lecturer at the same university, participated in a study that has developed a new method known as ‘singcryption’ to improve security and efficiency in underwater wireless sensor networks (UWSN). This advance is particularly useful in applications such as marine research and military surveillance, where it is crucial to transmit data securely and efficiently.

On Thursday, July 17, the boardroom of the Universidad Europea del Atlántico (European University of the Atlantic, UNEATLANTICO) hosted the meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Fundación Innovación y Desarrollo (Innovation and Development Business Angels Foundation, FIDBAN). During the meeting, the Foundation's Action Plan for the 2025-2026 academic year was approved. FIDBAN Director Diego Laínz presented a summary of the activities carried out during the 2024-2025 period, highlighting the progress made in promoting entrepreneurship and investment.
