Rubén Calderón, rector of the European University of the Atlantic (UNEATLANTICO), and Didier Claude Fleury, president of the Sustainability Cluster of Cantabria, have signed a collaboration agreement with the aim of cooperating jointly in the development and promotion of more environmentally friendly practices.
The Cluster’s aims include the promotion of sustainable development through circular economy, technological and environmental innovation, as well as supporting education and training in the areas of sustainability and social awareness.
Among the objectives of the agreement, collaboration in academic, scientific and cultural matters between the institutions will be made possible, in addition to developing and organising training, seminars and conferences that can benefit both students and professionals. Joint participation in research and development projects focusing on sustainable technologies will also be encouraged.
It should be noted that the European University of the Atlantic (UNEATLANTICO) has created an extensive network of collaboration with various institutions, with which it works in a coordinated manner in areas of innovation, training, professional guidance and entrepreneurship. The agreement with the Sustainability Cluster of Cantabria will promote new initiatives of great interest to the university community.
