On June 29th and 30th, the DIVERSE Alliance met at Algebra University in connection with the official accreditation visit for the Joint Master Program in International Business and Geopolitics (EMDI BAG). This visit was part of the external evaluation process conducted by NVAO, the Dutch accreditation agency.
Over the course of two intensive days, the evaluation panel met with representatives from partner institutions, members of the DIVERSE Executive Board, program committees, academic staff, students, student support services, communications teams, and external stakeholders.
Each of these meetings provided an opportunity to show the Alliance’s commitment to delivering a high-quality, innovative, and distinctly international joint program, based on close collaboration among the participating institutions and focused on providing students with the best possible learning experience. In addition, the sessions allowed the panel to conduct a comprehensive evaluation of the program’s academic standards, its organizational structure, and its quality assurance processes.
DIVERSE is a university alliance comprising 12 universities from 11 countries, including the Universidad Europea del Atlántico (European University of the Atlantic, UNEATLANTICO). Its member institutions work together to promote international mobility, develop collaborative projects, and design joint training programs that strengthen the international dimension of higher education. In this context, the Joint Master Program in International Business and Geopolitics is one of the academic initiatives promoted by the alliance.
Following the on-site visit, NVAO will begin the final phase of the accreditation process. This milestone underscores DIVERSE’s ongoing commitment to quality, innovation, and the continuous improvement of an international educational program capable of meeting the challenges of an ever-changing global environment.
