Business Administration and Management (ADE) students from the Universidad Europea del Atlántico (European University of the Atlantic, UNEATLANTICO) who are in their fourth year of studies at Griffith College, in Dublin, were visited by Jesús Peña, Secretary General of UNEATLANTICO, and Juan Luis Vidal, Director of the International Relations Office. The students shared their experiences with them as part of the dual-degree program between the two universities.
The meeting took place during a visit to Griffith College on the occasion of the meeting of the Executive Board and representatives of the member universities of DIVERSE, the alliance of European universities of which UNEATLANTICO is a member. During this meeting, the executive committee of the 12 universities that make up the alliance discussed its future areas of focus, including the proposal for its official degree programs.
During the visit, university representatives had the opportunity to talk with the students, who shared what their academic experience in Dublin has been like and how they are navigating this stage of their university education.
A Dual Degree Program Between UNEATLANTICO and Griffith College
UNEATLANTICO has a dual-degree agreement with Griffith College that allows students in the Degree in Business Administration and Management to earn two university degrees: one from UNEATLANTICO and the Bachelor (Honors) in Business Studies from Griffith College.
To enroll in this program, students complete the first three years of their studies at UNEATLANTICO, following the established academic track, and spend their fourth year at the Griffith College campus in Dublin. During this period, they study as full-fledged students at the Irish institution and complete their final degree project at UNEATLANTICO.
Griffith College’s degree is accredited by Quality and Qualifications Ireland (QQI), the Irish agency responsible for quality and qualifications in education and training.
This agreement offers students the opportunity to complete their education at two universities and gain international academic experience during their final year of study.
