Psychophysiology students exhibit their scientific posters in the UNEATLANTICO Exhibition Hall

The first-year students of Psychology at the Universidad Europea del Atlántico (European University of the Atlantic, UNEATLANTICO), presented the scientific posters they had made for the subject Psychophysiology, taught by the teacher Carla Álvarez.

The exhibition was made up of various stands with scientific posters prepared and presented by the students, in which different topics worked throughout the four-month period were approached visually, didactically and rigorously. The initiative aimed to disseminate the contents of the subject and encourage knowledge exchange among the university community.

The open event was attended by students and teachers from different academic areas, who toured the projects, dialoged with the authors of each poster and deepened the study of the relationship between mind and human body.

Psychophysiology is a branch of psychology that studies the interaction between psychological processes, such as emotions, thoughts and behaviors, and physiological responses of the organism. Through this subject, students are expected to understand and identify the neuroendocrine bases involved in motivational, cognitive and emotional processes, as well as interpret the biological foundations of human behavior from an evolutionary and integrative perspective.

With initiatives like this, UNEATLANTICO reaffirms its commitment to a comprehensive and quality academic education, promoting spaces where students not only strengthen their theoretical knowledge but also apply it in a practical way. This type of experience contributes to the development of professional academic competences, encouraging active learning, collaborative work and a deeper understanding of the contents addressed in their university education.
