Dr. Álvaro Velarde Sotres has presented a scientific research at the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) Congress held in Boston, United States of America. The event, organised by the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), is one of the most prestigious congresses in the world.
Dr. Álvaro Velarde Sotres, coordinator of the Doctorate Programme in Physical Activity and Sport and lecturer and researcher at the European University of the Atlantic (UNEATLANTICO) took part in the congress. Dr. Velarde was joined by Dr. Julio Calleja González, professor at the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU), and Dr. Jeffrey Mjaanes, director of sports medicine at Northwestern University in Evanston, USA, who collaborated in the study.
The research was presented by Dr. Alvaro Velarde under the title “Assessment of lower limb asymmetries in soccer players according to the stage of the season” in a free communication/poster session at the American College of Sports Medicine conference at the Hynes Convention Center in Boston.
