The Universidad Europea del Atlántico (European University of the Atlantic, UNEATLANTICO) will host a rapid HIV test day on Thursday, 21 May, from 11:00 to 16:00, as part of the European Testing Week.
The activity will take place in Room 0.6 and aims to raise awareness among the university community about the importance of HIV prevention, early diagnosis and awareness.
During the day, participants will be able to access HIV rapid tests in a confidential manner, free of charge and performed by specialized professionals.
The initiative is organized by the Asociación Ciudadana Cántabra Anti Sida (ACCAS), in collaboration with the Universidad Europea del Atlántico and the VIHDA program, and has the support of the Ministry of Health of the Government of Cantabria and the Ministry of Health.
From UNEATLANTICO students, teachers and administrative staff are encouraged to participate in this activity of health promotion and prevention, thus contributing to a greater social awareness and community health care.
