The 2nd Iberoamerican and Iberophony Forum, organized by the Iberoamerican University Foundation (FUNIBER), has been the focus of attention during the interview with the professor of the Universidad Europea del Atlántico (European University of the Atlantic, UNEATLANTICO) and Director of Institutional Relations and of the FUNIBER Chair of Ibero-American Studies and Iberophony, Dr. F. During the interview, conducted by Marcos Vega, Dr. Durántez emphasized the importance of the 2nd Iberoamerican and Iberophony Forum in an international context as intense as the current one.

In this second edition of the Forum, the Ambassador of the League of Arab States to the Kingdom of Spain, Malek Twal, will participate to give a lecture on “The Challenges of Global Diplomacy.”

Likewise, the Angolan ambassador, Alfredo Dombe, will intervene, in the north of Spain, together with Dr. Durántez, Professor Gustavo Bueno, and the Consul General of Uruguay, Ramiro Rodríguez Bausero, in a round table discussion on “The importance of diplomacy in international relations.” This will be an opportunity to explain how diplomatic mechanisms work and how they favor relations between peoples and nations, with a particular focus on Spanish- and Portuguese-speaking countries.
