The Universidad Europea del Atlántico (European University of the Atlantic, UNEATLANTICO) was the epicenter of innovation and entrepreneurship in Cantabria. The event, organized by the Community of Origin 0 and promoted by the Ibero-American Foundation for Entrepreneurship (FIDBAN), aimed to foster synergies between entrepreneurs in the community and university students.
Origin 0, the central hub of the Cantabrian entrepreneurial ecosystem, brought together about 20 entrepreneurs from their same community with students from various grades at UNEATLANTICO in order to break down barriers between university and company. The conference was attended by the promoters of Origen 0 and the management of FIDBAN. During the meeting, real experiences about project launch, current market challenges and investment opportunities were shared.
In addition, the students had the opportunity to make real networking and know firsthand the challenges of entrepreneurship and the possible problems that will be encountered once they graduate.
“Seeing the energy of the students blended with the experience of those who are already undertaking in Origin 0 is the key to renewing our business fabric” highlighted the director of FIDBAN, Diego Lainz, during his intervention.
This event reinforces the commitment of UNEATLANTICO and FIDBAN to act as a catalyst between emerging talent and the resources needed to turn ideas into viable and scalable businesses.
