The Universidad Europea del Atlántico (European University of the Atlantic, UNEATLANTICO) organizes the second edition of the Workshop in Neurosciences: Experimental Methods and Applications in Neuropsychology aimed at professionals in psychology and education. in order to provide up-to-date and practical knowledge.
The workshop will be held from 13 to 17 July 2026, in face-to-face format, at UNEATLANTICO university campus, in Santander. It will also be taught in both Spanish and Portuguese. For those foreign participants they will have the opportunity to stay in the UNEATLANTICO University Residence.
The program aims to provide participants with up-to-date training on experimental methods in neuroscience. Also, practical tools for their application in neuropsychological assessment and intervention processes will be addressed.This way, attendees will be able to improve their professional practice in educational and clinical contexts.
Throughout the workshop, participants will delve into advanced methodologies for the study of mental disorders and neurodevelopment. All this through the analysis of real cases and practical experiences.The course will also allow to understand how the incorporation of these tools in neuropsychological assessment extends diagnostic and intervention possibilities.In addition, the programme will include a practical introduction to the main experimental methods used in neuroscience and neuropsychology. The sessions will be conducted by national and international scholars and researchers of recognized prestige.
Dr. Ángel Rojas, coordinator of the Workshop, emphasizes that “this intensive in-person program has been designed to provide students with the fundamental tools needed to face the continuous technological and scientific advances that are transforming professional practice in psychology and education.”
The workshop is aimed at graduates and graduates in the area of Psychology, as well as PhD students in Psychology from Spanish-speaking and Lusophone countries interested in expanding their academic and professional training. The successful completion of the program will allow obtaining the title of Expert by the European University of the Atlantic.
