UNEATLANTICO hosts a new STARTInnova day at the assembly hall

The Universidad Europea del Atlántico (European Atlantic University, UNEATLANTICO) has been the scene of an intense innovation day and defense of business ideas STARTInnova, promoted by the Fundación Innovación y Desarrollo (Foundation for Innovation and Development, FIDBAN).

StartInnova’s ten finalist teams presented their proposals to a panel of experts, demonstrating not only technical feasibility but also a strong commitment to technology, sustainability and social welfare. The projects presented covered strategic sectors ranging from artificial intelligence applied to skin to advanced solutions in transport and animal care. This presentation represents the completion of months of work in which students have learned how to transform an idea into a real business model.

Diego Lainz, director of FIDBAN, highlighted the value of the strategic partnership with STARTInnova to foster entrepreneurship from the classroom. Lainz wanted to highlight the “exceptional quality” of both the projects presented and the oral presentations, highlighting the joint effort of students, tutors and mentors in developing these business plans.

Likewise, Lainz linked this young talent with the academic offer of UNEATLANTICO. The director recalled that the institution is firmly committed to entrepreneurship through the subject “Business Economy and Entrepreneurs”, a cross-curricular and mandatory subject for all degrees of the university, thus ensuring that all students, Regardless of their career, acquire the tools needed to turn their ideas into business realities.
