The auditorium of the European University of the Atlantic (UNEATLANTICO) hosts a conference for students of the degree in Physical Activity and Sport Sciences (CAFYD), given by Roberto Cabielles.
As part of the course Prevention and Readaptation of Injuries in Sport, taught by Florent Osmani and Fernando Maniega, Roberto Cabielles, injury readaptor of Real Racing Club B, Rayo Cantabria, has told his work experience as a graduate of the University.
The conference was divided into two parts; the first one in which Roberto introduced the world of sports rehabilitation. He also explained the role of the sports readaptor, the treatment of a sports readaptor in a multidisciplinary team, the criteria of progression and the phases of the readaptation process from the moment you get injured until you return to play, all of this with his own examples that he has dealt with in his work.
In a second part it also served as a context to explain the world of injury rehabilitation and from there the new course on it that the University is promoting with Cabielles and Florent Osmani, as co-founders of the same.
Roberto Cabielles’ conference was a resounding success and left a great impression on the CAFYD degree students, who were able to acquire valuable tools for the prevention and rehabilitation of injuries in sport. This type of initiative organised by the European University of the Atlantic promotes the exchange of knowledge and strengthens the comprehensive training of students, preparing them to face the challenges of today’s sporting world.
