UNEATLANTICO and FUNIBER recognize the excellence of their recipients in the first delivery of titles of 2026 in Paraguay

The Universidad Europea del Atlántico (European University of the Atlantic, UNEATLANTICO) participated in the first graduation ceremony of 2026 organized by the Ibero-American University Foundation (FUNIBER) in Paraguay. The event recognized the efforts of fellows who completed programs of the International University Network promoted by FUNIBER, including official degrees from the academic institution based in Santander.

The celebration took place in the auditorium hall of the World Trade Center, in Asunción. The meeting brought together graduates, family members and institutional representatives in an atmosphere of recognition of academic achievement and demonstrated commitment to successfully complete international programs in remote modality.

On this occasion, degrees were awarded to graduate fellows of UNEATLANTICO, the International Ibero-American University of Mexico (UNINI México) and the International Ibero-American University (UNIB), all institutions that are part of the International University Network.

The ceremony was led by the Scholarship manager, Andrea Ayala, who gave way to the presentation of the diplomas issued by the participating universities. This moment was also handled by Raquel González Vargas, executive director of FUNIBER Paraguay and coordinator of the representative office in Paraguay of UNEATLANTICO, and the academic secretary of the headquarters, Aidé Macedo.

Raquel González Vargas, during her speech, dedicated a few emotional words to the group of recipients. And he emphasized the decision to continue training in graduate programs, the self-discipline necessary to reconcile studies, work and personal life, as well as commented on the satisfaction that it involves culminating an academic stage with the official receipt of the university degree.

The graduates also received video congratulatory messages from the top academic authorities of the universities in the network. The rector of UNEATLANTICO in Spain, Dr. Rubén Calderón; the rector of UNINI Mexico, Dr. Luis Dzul; and the rector of UNIB in Puerto Rico, Dr. Carol Morales, who stressed the importance of continuing education and the international scope of these programs.

The event concluded with the testimony of the scholarship holder Ángel Rodrigo de Beitía, who received his degree from UNEATLANTICO in Data Science applied to Business Intelligence. In his speech, he emphasized that the distance methodology allowed him to advance his training without interrupting his professional responsibilities or personal life. A clear example of the profile of students in the International University Network who combine work with postgraduate studies.

Finally, UNEATLANTICO’s participation in the first graduation ceremony of 2026 in Paraguay consolidates the institution’s link with the region and aligns with the university’s commitment to internationalization, the flexible training and permanent support for the student throughout their academic journey.
