The MLS Educational Research journal, published by UNEATLANTICO, has been included into the Diamond Discovery Hub (DDH) index

The Fundación Española para la Ciencia y la Tecnología (Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology, FECYT), acting as a trusted source for the European Diamond Capacity Hub (EDCH), has recently included the MLS Educational Research journal (MLSER) on the Diamond Discovery Hub (DDH) platform.

The Diamond Discovery Hub is an international platform that brings together journals operating under the Diamond Open Access model. The DDH aims to become a comprehensive registry of European Open Access journals published by institutions and managed by researchers, which do not charge publication fees, with the goal of improving their visibility, facilitating their discovery, and strengthening the recognition of high-quality journals within the academic ecosystem.

Following an assessment, it was determined that MLSER meets the six criteria of the DDH: The journal must have a valid ISSN to ensure its permanent identification, be of an academic nature with a clearly defined peer-review process, and offer open access to all its content under open licenses included in the metadata. In addition, it must not charge authors any fees for publication (although voluntary, non-mandatory donations are permitted); it must be open to contributions from any author without restrictions on affiliation; and it must be affiliated with public or nonprofit organizations involved in research, clearly stating its ownership on its website.

The MLS Educational Research journal (MLSER) is a biannual publication created to contribute to educational debate and enhance understanding of educational practice, pedagogical innovation, and research in general. Articles in this journal are published in Spanish, Portuguese, and English. The international focus of the journal makes it well-suited to promoting understanding of different sociocultural contexts.

MLSER is one of the journals published by the Multi-Lingual Scientific (MLS) Journals, an open-access publisher based in Santander (Spain) and supported by the Iberoamerican University Foundation (FUNIBER), the Universidad Europea del Atlántico (European University of the Atlantic, UNEATLANTICO), the Universidad Internacional Iberoamericana de México (International Iberoamerican University of Mexico, UNINI México), the Universidad Internacional Iberoamericana (International Iberoamerican University, UNIB), the Universidad de La Romana (University of La Romana, UNIROMANA), the Fundación Universitaria Internacional de Colombia (International University Foundation of Colombia, UNINCOL), the Universidade Internacional do Cuanza (International University of Cuanza, UNIC), and Mexico’s Instituto Politécnico Nacional (National Polytechnic Institute).
