The international representative of Griffith College, Catherine Papin, visits our campus to present the double degree with UNEATLANTICO

Catherine Papin, international representative of theGriffith College (Dublin), has visited the campus of the Universidad Europea del Atlántico (European University of the Atlantic, UNEATLANTICO) to present to the students the double degree that both institutions have in the area of Business Administration and Management.

More than fifty ADE students attended the talk to hear about the agreement between the two academic institutions, from which they can benefit by obtaining both the degree of UNEATLANTICO and the Bachelor (Honors) in Business Studies awarded by Griffith College.

In her speech, Catherine Papin, who was accompanied by the director of the International Relations Office of UNEATLANTICO, Juan Luis Vidal, stressed the great opportunity to study a year at this university, not only for the double degree but for personal and professional growth. Papin highlighted the quality of education in Ireland, as well as the advantages of studying in a multicultural environment, a trait shared by the Griffith College and UNEATLANTICO. This provides students with a more international vision in order to face the globalized labor market.

In order to be eligible for this opportunity, ADE students must have completed at least 180 ECTS credits corresponding to the first three courses at UNEATLANTICO. In addition, those interested need to have a level of English equal to or higher than 6.0 IELTS, accredited by an official exam or by an internal level test.

Regarding the relationship between the institutions, it is worth noting that the agreement that allows this double degree to be taken was signed in 2020, with which both universities seek to offer added value to the students’ curriculum. On the other hand, the close link between UNEATLANTICO and the Griffith College over the years has been shown in the institutional visit that Juan Luis Vidal has carried out to the Irish university, Papin’s first visit to UNEATLANTICO in 2021, or the participation of the two universities in the DIVERSE alliance to promote sustainable education and entrepreneurship in Europe.
