Jurate Sereikiené, a lecturer at SMK University of Applied Sciences in Vilnius, Lithuania, is teaching a masterclass for students currently taking the subject “Creation of Audiovisual and Multimedia Products” from the Universidad Europea del Atlántico (European Atlantic University, UNEATLANTICO).
Sereikiené’s presentation focused on storytelling in marketing communications, combining visual storytelling and narrative techniques that can be applied in various fields such as marketing, communication, human resources and community management.
This masterclass was taught as part of the subject Creation of Audiovisual and Multimedia Products, coordinated by the teacher Adriana Del Val. The subject is taught by students of the second year of the Communication degrees and by students of the fourth year of the degree in Informatics. During the session, Sereikiené presented a simple and practical storytelling tool aimed at creating value in building and retaining diverse communities. He also presented relevant psychological theories and shared practical tips that support the effective use of storytelling as a communicative resource.
Students had the opportunity to put into practice the learned theory through interactive exercises. The workshop demonstrated how you can use this storytelling tool to better understand your audience, whether customers, employees or community members.
UNEATLANTICO through this type of masterclass and lectures reaffirms its commitment to provide a comprehensive education by providing its students with all the necessary tools to be successful professionals.
