Juan Luis Martín, Vice-Rector of Research and Knowledge Transfer, participates in a session with the Directorate-General for Innovation, Technological Development and Industrial Entrepreneurship

The Vice-Rector for Research and Knowledge Transfer of the Universidad Europea del Atlántico (European University of the Atlantic, UNEATLANTICO), Dr. Juan Luis Martín, participates in a meeting organized by the General Directorate of Innovation, Technological Development and Industrial Entrepreneurship of the Government of Cantabria.

The meeting aimed to further strengthen the R&D&I ecosystem of Cantabria and encourage closer collaboration between different agencies. In addition, this event was an opportunity for representatives of the various companies and institutions from the public and private sphere to have a first contact.

In this meeting, a dynamic was carried out in which the 20 companies that attended, made a brief presentation that revolved around two themes:

  • The company’s capabilities: What key research lines or projects are they currently developing?
  • Synergies: What resources, knowledge or support do you expect or need from the other research centers and the administration of Cantabria?

This dynamic proved to be an effective resource for making it easier for attendees to identify opportunities for collaboration. This type of events are the best way to enhance the impact and development of science and technology in our community.

In addition, the participation of the Vice-Rector reaffirms UNEATLANTICO’s commitment to the scientific community to boost research and innovation, enhance knowledge transfer and provide its students with the best professional training.
