The Iberoamerican University Foundation (FUNIBER), through its Cultural Work, has published the list of winners for the third edition of the PHotoFUNIBER’21 international photography contest. A contest held in collaboration with the European University of the Atlantic, the International Iberoamerican University of Mexico (UNINI Mexico), the International University Foundation of Colombia (UNINCOL), and the International Iberoamerican University of Puerto Rico (UNINI Puerto Rico) that aims to disseminate art and knowledge.
The contest organizers will award twelve prizes between the categories: Nature, Abstract, Heritage, and Photojournalism. In this way, as established in the rules, the winner of each category chosen by the jury will receive a prize of 400€ and an 80% scholarship to study one of the postgraduate programs sponsored by FUNIBER.
On the other hand, 300 euros and a 50% scholarship to study one of the postgraduate programs promoted by FUNIBER will be awarded to the photograph in each category with the most public votes gained through Facebook.
As for the UNEATLANTICO Special Prize, the photographs of students Alberto Blanco Pacheco and Cristian Vegas Manrique will be awarded with a prize of 200 euros.
Likewise, the FUNIBER Special Prize will award the 2 best photographs submitted by postgraduate students with a FUNIBER scholarship who have completed their studies or are currently studying. Two prizes of 200€ will be awarded.
Apart from the aforementioned prizes, several honorable mentions will be awarded and, as in previous editions, the winning photographs will be exhibited in the UNEATLANTICO Exhibition Hall.
