UNEATLANTICO holds information sessions for students wishing to participate in the Erasmus+ program 2024-2025

The Oficina de Relaciones Internacionales (International Relations Office, ORI) of the Universidad Europea del Atlántico (European University of the Atlantic, UNEATLANTICO) offers an informative talk to students of different degrees interested in the call for mobility under the Erasmus+ program and bilateral agreements.

The talk was given by the Secretary General and Vice Rector for International Relations, Roberto Ruiz; the Director of the ORI, Professor Juan Luis Vidal; and the Administrative Manager, Laura Martín.

Ruiz began by emphasizing that students will face “a competitive, diverse, and global world.” It is important that from university they acquire certain skills and competencies that will allow them to face situations far from home and their comfort zone. Therefore, the Erasmus+ program is very interesting because it allows mobility to prestigious universities in four continents, which translates into a global offer.

For his part, Vidal highlighted the advantages of studying abroad through the Erasmus+ program. According to him, 80% of the students who have attended this program find employment within three months of graduation, and 40% get jobs in the same company where they did their internships. He mentioned that students significantly improve their ability to work with people from different cultures.

Applications are open for approximately 500 exchange places and 80 destinations in European, Canadian, Chinese, or Latin American universities for the 2024-2025 academic year.

Steps to follow

In order to apply, students must submit their application using a form before December 20, 2023 by 5:00 p.m. Before completing the form, applicants should carefully read the terms and conditions, check the available destinations for their degree, and verify that the curriculum of the destination university is compatible with that of UNEATLANTICO, and that the subjects are taught in a language understandable to the student. Additionally, those students who do not have a certification in a given language must take an internal exam to demonstrate their proficiency.
