UNEATLANTICO holds a graduation ceremony for scholarship holders in Ecuador

The Iberoamerican University Foundation (FUNIBER), based in Ecuador, organized a diploma award ceremony for 228 scholarship holders of the Universidad Europea del Atlántico (European University of the Atlantic, UNEATLANTICO), the Universidad Internacional Iberoamericana (International Iberoamerican University,  UNIB), and the Universidad Internacional Iberoamericana de México (International Iberoamerican University of Mexico, UNINI Mexico). This event was held at the Centro de Arte Theater in the city of Guayaquil on October 28, 2023. 

The board of directors in charge of awarding the diplomas to the students was made up of outstanding academic and managerial personalities, such as Mr. Enrique Espinel Maila, executive director of FUNIBER, Ecuador branch; Dr. Daniel Gavilanes Aray, director of FUNIBER’s Technology Center; Ms. Angie García Macías, FUNIBER’s financial coordinator; and Mr. Néstor Petraccaro Guerrero, university advisor of the Universidad Europea del Atlántico in Ecuador.

The event was attended by guests of honor, such as Ms. Solange Lara Gaibor, director of the Student Counseling Department of the Abdón Calderón Private Bilingual Educational Unit; Ms. Katty Plaza Flores, rector of the Millenium Private Educational Unit; and Vanessa Terán Torres, coordinator of the Academic Secretariat of FUNIBER Ecuador.

The representative of the Universidad Europea del Atlántico, Néstor Petraccaro, offered a thank you and congratulation speech to the students for their hard work and dedication. The rectors of each of the partner universities also sent emotional messages of recognition and encouragement to the new professionals.

The student María Gabriela Asanza Álvarez, who obtained the title of Master in Personal Coaching and Organizational Leadership from the Universidad Europea del Atlántico, addressed the audience on behalf of the entire student community. In her emotional speech, she deeply thanked the faculty and highlighted the commitment of FUNIBER and the university in providing her with support in her educational path, as well as the opportunity to access a high-quality academic training.

This UNEATLANTICO degree award ceremony in Ecuador is a testament to the institution’s continued commitment to higher education and its firm objective to generate opportunities through its scholarship program.
