The UNEATLANTICO Assembly Hall hosts the 21st FIDBAN Investor Roundtable

The European University of the Atlantic (UNEATLANTICO) will host tomorrow, 10 October, the twenty-first Investor Round of the Innovation and Development Foundation (FIDBAN). During this event, Carlandia, Aptadel Therapeutics, Juntos 55 and Triipfy will present their projects to a club of investors backed by the university.

The round will be opened by Ana Ingelmo, founder and CEO of Las Hermanisimas, who will later be interviewed by the content director of Cadena SER in Cantabria, Fermín Mier.

The first project to be presented is Carlandia, a startup from Santander in the automotive sector that is dedicated to intermediating in the sale of used vehicles from official dealerships and car dealerships on its digital portal. In addition, it should be noted that it also makes it easier for buyers to obtain loans to speed up the sale. It is the first portal of vehicles for sale where buyers can offer online what they are willing to pay for the car they are interested in.

Aptadel Therapeutics, a biotech company, has created an RNA-based platform with a dual mechanism of action: it offers an anti-metastatic effect and allows intracellular transport of various therapeutic agents. This technology is customisable to address a wide variety of oncological indications, with a main focus on childhood cancer, especially Ewing’s sarcoma.

The third project to be showcased during this 21st round is Juntos 55, the first social network designed exclusively for Spanish-speaking people over 55, which allows age, motivations, available time and the need for personal contact to contribute to creating a sense of integration in a global community that shares a language. It is developed with specific content for its users, as well as product and service recommendations tailored to this group. Fostering a strong sense of belonging, with an easy use of technology and in an environment of common interests.

Finally, Triipfy, a platform that allows groups of travellers to access unique trips, connecting travel agents from various locations to attract more customers and increase their sales. This is an exclusive opportunity for agents, facilitated by innovative and easily accessible technology. Agencies can publish their unique trips, allowing other agents to recruit clients to complete groups or create new ones, depending on their specialisation. At a later stage, these unique trips will be made available to the end customer.

However, FIDBAN is a non-profit foundation, whose main objective is to help startups seek private investment to develop their projects. Its Board of Trustees includes the European University of the Atlantic, SODERCAN as main sponsor, the Ibero-American University Foundation (FUNIBER), CITICAN, the city councils of Santander and Torrelavega and CEOE-CEPYME.n a later stage, these unique trips will be available to the end customer.
