ADE students from UNEATLANTICO attend activities of economic institutions in the region: CEOE-CEPYME Cantabria and SODERCAN

The Degree in Business Administration (ADE) of the Universidad Europea del Atlántico (European University of the Atlantic, UNEATLANTICO), directed by the Vice Rector for Academic Planning and Faculty, Dr. Silvia Aparicio Obregón, periodically shares with her students enriching training activities from different economic institutions: CEOE, APD, Chamber of Commerce, Cemide, College of Economists, among others. In this way, students can acquire competencies and learning outcomes, such as communicating adequately in different scenarios, analyzing, and searching for information on business administration, skills in personal interrelationships, exercising criticism and self-criticism, learning autonomously, leadership, or concern for environmental issues.

Students attended the #pingpong session: Positioning strategies for SMEs in the CEOE-CEPYME Cantabria, a talk aimed at SMEs, freelancers, and entrepreneurs given by Rodrigo Ruiz, from Interactiva Clic, in which they taught the best marketing strategies to make a business visible, attract the target audience, and position itself as a leader in the sector. In addition, the students received an explanation of the best SEO and SEM techniques to position yourself.

They also attended the presentation of the 2nd edition of the Xtela Business Acceleration and Open Innovation Program of Sodercan, inaugurated by Eduardo Arasti Barca, Counselor of the Ministry of Industry, Employment, Innovation, and Trade, where the objectives and dates of the program were set, and two success stories of the first edition were also shown. On the one hand, Juan Hernández, Director of Service Model and Digitalization at Mutua Montañesa, and Laura Herrera, Head of R&D&I at Astander. Finally, Javier Puente, Director of Innovation of the Ministry of Industry, Employment, Innovation, and Trade, closed the event.

The students also attended the Business Café event: Branding and identity in which the latest trends in innovation and entrepreneurship were presented, and which on this occasion featured La Mecha Studio, whose members shared some examples of what not to implement and the strategic lines for business improvement, thus building a true corporate identity that helps positioning and differentiation as a company. The day ended with a coffee-networking session among the participants to encourage networking with other professionals.

With active participation in these activities, the Universidad Europea del Atlántico promotes interest in business, innovation, and entrepreneurship inside and outside the classroom.
