Today, Friday, first semester classes from the 2020-2021 academic year come to an end. Over the next week, UNEATLANTICO students will be able to attend tutorial sessions for the final exams to have their questions answered, carry out academic activities, or study subject material.
As in the first semester, the academic activity during the second semester will be carried out under a face-to-face and, in some cases, in a blended modality. All this under optimal preventive safety measures and hygiene in both the University Campus, as well as in the University Residence.
The final exams will be held in class. The exams will be carried out under the safety measures established by the health authorities to avoid any risks. Ensuring social distance between students and disinfection before and after each examination period.
The UNEATLANTICO library will remain open during the final exams. As in everywhere around the Campus, compliance with the preventive measures is ensured through the ventilation system, the provision of hydroalcoholic gels, the mandatory use of masks, and social distancing.
In this sense, it is worth mentioning that the educational centers are not a main focus of contagion. The latest report from the Ministry of Health reveals that most cases of COVID-19 are associated with outbreaks in more social settings.
We remind the entire university community that they have the Contingency Plan and Action Protocol at their disposal which includes all the established measures.
Lastly, we would like to highlight the commitment and responsibility of our students during their visit to the University Campus and wish them luck in their final exams.
