The Universidad Europea del Atlántico (European University of the Atlantic) (UNEATLANTICO) has awarded diplomas to the students who obtained the best academic records of the 2022-2023 class. The award ceremony took place during the opening ceremony of the new academic year.

For the degree in Business Administration and Management, Sofía Carpintero Borrajo, a graduate student, received her diploma from the vice-rector for academic planning, Silvia Aparicio. The student had already completed her degree in Industrial Organization Engineering and is currently working at Schindler Group. For her part, the academic director of the Translation and Interpretation degree, Paula Quijano, presented the award to Andrea Alvear Gómez.
In the same way, Ana Visiers, director of communication degrees, presented Laura Samperio Arredondo with the diploma for the best record of the degree in Journalism. After successfully completing her second degree, Samperio has been placed in the editorial office of Diario Alerta. She combines her work with a master’s degree in journalism and digital communication. Visiers also presented Nicolás Llano Lozano, an international graduate student, with the award for the best record of the degree in Advertising and Public Relations.
For the degree in Audiovisual Communication, the dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, Federico Fernández Díez, awarded the prize for the best record to Luis Miguel Allende. The award winner has presented and produced a program on the Asturian radio station RPA. In addition, he will begin studying for a master’s degree in Radio and Podcasting at Cadena SER.
Giovanna Ruiz García has collected the diploma that accredits her as the best record of the degree in Primary Education. After her successful time at UNEATLANTICO, she has found a job opportunity as a high school physical education teacher.
For its part, the Faculty of Health Sciences has awarded outstanding students who have achieved, thanks to their dedication, the diploma for the best record of their degree.
Carlos Lago, academic director of the degree in Physical Activity and Sport Sciences, presented the corresponding certificate to Ariadna Siri Schuchner. The graduate collaborates in the psychology department of Real Racing Club. She combines this work with the Santander team with supporting as a personal trainer at the Gimnasio Palestra. Likewise, for the degree in Human Nutrition and Dietetics, the academic director, Iñaki Elio, presented the diploma for the best record to Andrea de Santiago Arozamena, who after her excellent career at UNEATLANTICO has begun a Master’s Degree in Food and Sustainability.
Likewise, Carlota Anaya Pérez received from the director of the degree, Sandra Sumalla, the diploma that accredits her as the best record of the degree in Food Science and Technology. She is currently pursuing an International Master in food and beverages management.
Similarly, the Higher Polytechnic School recognized the dedication of its students by awarding diplomas for the best records in each of its degrees.
Emilio Casuso, director of the degree in Agro-Food engineering, has awarded Ángel Roberto Meda Cabrera the diploma for the best record. Now, a Master’s student in Business Management in a global environment at the Catholic University of Valencia. Likewise, Manuel Masías, director of the degree program in Computer Engineering, presented the corresponding certificate to Darío Ruiz Diéguez, best academic record, who after his university studies is now working in an artificial intelligence company in Cantabria.
In the degree in Industrial Organization Engineering, Pablo Fernández Aragoncillo has been awarded as the best record of the degree. The director of the degree, Jorge Crespo, made the presentation. After his outstanding career at UNEATLANTICO, he is currently taking a university course in Big Data and looking for a job.
For justifiable reasons, the best records of Applied Languages, Ángel Rodríguez Bouzo; of Psychology, Lucia Valverde Acón; of the Master’s Degree in Teacher Training,, Sara Remuzgo Martínez; and from the Master’s Degree in General Health Psychology, Marina Soler Andrés, were unable to attend to collect the recognition of the best record of their degree. As with the rest of the students, the Universidad Europea del Atlántico thanks them for their efforts.
