The Universidad Europea del Atlántico (European University of the Atlantic, UNEATLANTICO) and the Iberoamerican University Foundation (FUNIBER) organize a new edition of the “Business Digitalization. New Business Standards “ workshop. It will be held from July 8 to 12, 2024.
The UNEATLANTICO campus will be the meeting point for professionals, students, academics, and entrepreneurs. Students will have the possibility of staying at the University Residence at the UNEATLANTICO Campus.
The workshop is aimed at managers, entrepreneurs, and professionals from different areas or industries, interested in developing their management skills, enhancing their capabilities, and acquiring tools that will allow them to operate in different face-to-face environments. In its previous edition, an immersive one-week workshop was presented. Structured in morning and afternoon sessions, it provided a series of practical workshops with current business cases, addressing topics such as competitive strategy, people management, consumer behavior, information systems, digitalization, business communication, negotiation, and entrepreneurship. Some of the main goals were to share ideas and improve the skills and abilities of all participating students.
The practical training was complemented with visits to companies in the region to understand more clearly the different business models; visiting the facilities of Ingram Micro, Global Steel Wire, and Santander’s Port Authority; respectively, studying the digital, logistics, and industrial models. This new workshop will include the study of the agri-food model with a visit to the Nestlé factory,
The on-site MBA week is intended to provide students with the necessary knowledge to put into practice techniques and strategies to develop new business standards. The program is directed by Dr. Silvia Aparicio Obregón, Vice Rector of Planning and Faculty of the Universidad Europea del Atlántico. During the week, prominent speakers will include Dr. Manuel Masías, Ignacio Dávila, Virginia Matesanz, and Dr. José Luis Vidal.
