UNEATLANTICO organises a graduation ceremony for its scholarship holders in the Dominican Republic

The European University of the Atlantic (UNEATLANTICO) in collaboration with the Ibero-American University Foundation (FUNIBER) held a graduation ceremony in the Dominican Republic for 60 scholarship students who completed their programmes at higher education institutions in its International University Network: the Ibero-American International University (UNIB) and the Ibero-American International University of Mexico (UNINI Mexico).

The event, held at the Hotel Catalonia in Santo Domingo, was attended by academic authorities, teachers, family members and friends of the graduates, who celebrated this important achievement. The table of honour was made up of the director of FUNIBER in the Dominican Republic, Massiel Castro, the tutor of the Projects area, Hadit Brito, and the director of International Admissions, Mónica Gracia.

During the ceremony, the FUNIBER representatives emphasised education as a driving force for development and the importance of continuous learning in a globalised and competitive environment. They also highlighted the institution’s links with internationally renowned universities, which guarantees an academic offering in line with the demands of the labour market.

Representing the graduates, Miguel Alonso Montero García, who completed the Master’s Degree in Assisted Human Reproduction, and Omar José Castillo, who completed the International Master’s Degree in Political Science, expressed their satisfaction and gratitude for the opportunity provided through FUNIBER.

With this graduation ceremony, the Foundation reaffirms its commitment to training professionals in the Dominican Republic and in the more than 35 countries where it has a presence. Through its Scholarship Programme, it has facilitated access to higher education programmes for numerous professionals in the country, enabling them to achieve their academic goals and advance in their professional careers.
