The Iberoamerican University Foundation (FUNIBER), based in El Salvador, celebrates an inspiring ceremony for the awarding of degrees to more than forty scholarship recipients. The presentation of the diplomas has been in charge of the Universidad Europea del Atlántico (European University of the Atlantic, UNEATLANTICO), Universidad Internacional Iberoamericana de México (International Iberoamerican University of Mexico, UNINI Mexico), and the Universidad Internacional Iberoamericana (International Iberoamerican University, UNIB).
The ceremony celebrated the education and the professional, cultural, and intellectual development of the graduated protagonists of this successful day, thanks to the commitment of FUNIBER, UNEATLANTICO, UNINI, and UNIB.
This event has brought together key people in the educational and cultural field, demonstrating the scope and relevance of the work carried out by FUNIBER. The table of honor was made up of figures of great prestige and relevance in Salvadoran society and the international scene. The opening speech was given by the director of FUNIBER El Salvador, Alejandro Herrera, who shared his vision and commitment to quality education accessible to all.
The Consul of the Spanish Embassy, Helena Escorial, joined the celebration, highlighting the importance of education as a bridge between nations. Also, present was the representative of the Ministry of Culture, Roberto Betancourth, who highlighted the positive impact that education and culture have on the development of a nation, emphasizing the importance of national identity and the role that higher education plays in promoting culture in El Salvador.
The Foundation continues to work tirelessly to ensure that more Salvadorans benefit from the Foundation’s scholarship programs and reaffirm its commitment to the formation of critical and academically engaged citizens.
