The event took place at the National Museum of Anthropology “Dr. David J. Guzmán”, where students, along with their families and representatives of FUNIBER and UNEATLANTICO, gathered to recognize the success of 64 scholarship holders for completing an academic cycle.
The table of honor was presided over by Alejandro Herrera, Director of FUNIBER in El Salvador, and Roberto Ruiz, Vice Rector of International Relations at UNEATLANTICO. Also present were Oscar de la Torre, Chargé d’Affaires at the Embassy of Mexico, and Alfonso Pérez Hernández, Minister Counselor of the Embassy of Spain. The Ministry of Culture of El Salvador was represented by Roberto Betancourth, National Director of Arts Education.
This distinguished group was in charge of proudly expressing the importance of this event in the lives of the graduates and the positive impact they will have on the development of Salvadoran society. They highlighted the perseverance and discipline demonstrated by the scholarship holders and encouraged them to continue with their professional and academic projects. They also took the opportunity to emphasize the merit of completing their studies with the conviction that this achievement will open doors to better job opportunities.
The ceremony included a moment to recognize students who stood out for their exceptional academic achievements, both in GPA and in their contributions to the student community.
UNEATLANTICO congratulates the Salvadoran scholarship holders who have placed their trust in the university’s mission of providing educational opportunities to thousands of people on four continents.
