The European Atlantic University (UNEATLANTICO) has celebrated the Erasmus Days with a special day organised by the Office of International Relations (ORI) in collaboration with the Erasmus Student Network (ESN).
The initiative took place in the exhibition hall and brought together both international students currently participating in the Erasmus programme and those interested in living this experience during the 2026-2027 academic year.
The event included a workshop consisting of several activities designed to encourage cultural exchange and participation. The wall of experiences allowed participants to write on post-its their Erasmus memories, practical tips or the reasons that motivated them to participate in the programme. In the language workshop, students shared expressions typical of their mother tongues, resulting in spontaneous conversations about customs and cultural differences.
This was followed by a team-based general knowledge game, in which participants had to answer questions about different countries. To be able to answer, they first had to touch a balloon before the opposing team, which added a competitive component. Erasmus bingo was also played, where the pupils had to find partners who fulfilled certain characteristics, such as having travelled to several countries or knowing how to cook a typical dish, thus encouraging interaction between people they did not know before, with the incentive of a prize to complete it.
All this with the aim of giving greater visibility to international mobility and promoting cultural exchange between students, as well as strengthening ties between local and international students, creating a community and raising the interest of new participants in future mobility calls.
