The European University of the Atlantic (UNEATLANTICO) in collaboration with the Ibero-American University Foundation (FUNIBER) based in Argentina, organised a diploma ceremony at the Hotel Konke in Buenos Aires to celebrate the academic achievements of its scholarship students who have successfully completed their postgraduate programmes.
The event honoured 19 graduates who completed their online studies with UNEATLANTICO, the Universidad Internacional Iberoamericana de México (UNINI Mexico) and the Universidad Internacional Iberoamericana (UNIB) of Puerto Rico. The students came from various Argentinean provinces, such as Corrientes, Jujuy, Mendoza, Misiones, Santa Fe and towns in the interior of Buenos Aires, reflecting the diversity and scope of FUNIBER’s educational initiative.
The ceremony counted with the virtual participation of Dr. Rubén Calderón, Rector of UNEATLANTICO, and Dr. Luis Alonso Dzul López, Rector of UNINI Mexico, who expressed their congratulations to the graduates for this academic achievement.
Representing FUNIBER Argentina, Dr. Roberto Álvarez, Director of Headquarters, together with Mónica Marano, Coordinator of the Academic Secretary’s Department; as well as the advisors of the Student Department, Agustina Trigili, Eleana Regueira and Julieta Franco, attended the event. Lina Martínez Rua, from the Global Academic Secretary’s Department, and Paola Andrea Galindo, from the Administration Department, also participated.
Silvia Ferreyra, a graduate of the Doctorate in Education, shared a few words of thanks to FUNIBER and the teaching staff for the support provided throughout her training at UNINI Mexico, highlighting the academic quality and the positive experience lived during her educational process.
The ceremony came to an end with a sense of pride and satisfaction, celebrating the academic achievements of the graduates. In addition, UNEATLANTICO and FUNIBER reaffirmed their commitment to higher education, facilitating access to education without geographical borders, allowing students from various regions of the world to access high quality programmes and thus contributing to the personal and professional development of each of them.
