The Universidad Europea del Atlántico (European University of the Atlantic, UNEATLANTICO) and the Fundación Universitaria Iberoamericana (Ibero-American University Foundation, FUNIBER) have signed a collaboration agreement with the Guayaquil Chamber of Commerce, with the aim of establishing a scholarship programme for undergraduate and postgraduate studies.
The agreement was signed at the Chamber of Commerce’s offices, with the participation of Miguel Ángel González Guzmán, president of the Guayaquil Chamber of Commerce, Clemente Enrique Espinel Maila, executive director of FUNIBER’s Ecuador office, and Néstor Petraccaro Guerrero, representative of UNEATLANTICO in Ecuador.
The purpose of this alliance is to strengthen the academic training of the Chamber’s members, collaborators and executives, as well as their families, by providing opportunities for professional development in various disciplines.
Through the FUNIBER Scholarship Programme, beneficiaries will have the opportunity to access online undergraduate and postgraduate programmes accredited by the International Ibero-American University of Puerto Rico (UNIB), the International Ibero-American University of Mexico (UNINI Mexico) and UNEATLANTICO. These scholarships allow students to choose areas of study in line with their interests and professional goals, facilitating their academic and professional growth.
In addition, it offers partial scholarships for on-site bachelor’s and specialisation programmes in Spain through UNEATLANTICO, thus contributing to the training of highly qualified leaders.
With this strategic alliance, UNEATLANTICO and FUNIBER reaffirm their commitment to promoting quality education without geographical barriers, strengthening international cooperation and access to innovative academic programmes for members of the Guayaquil Chamber of Commerce.
